It may be just me, but I find it an incredible waste of time, having to manually upload updated files every time I make a change and want to test it. Just to be clear: we are talking custom WordPress templates level here, no command line deployment of Rails apps or git commits. ![]() The problem is, this code is somewhere far far away - on an FTP server. And the code on these websites sometimes needs revising, updating, debugging… you name it. Or navigating legacy software and old discussion foraĮven though I am not a professional web developer, I do manage a few websites. ![]()
